Journey Of A Ruby And Diamond Cluster Ring

We updated you not so long ago on the progress of a deep blood-red ruby and diamond cluster ring. Now the spectacular piece is finished and has gone to its new owner! To give you an idea of the ring making process, in order to get to this sparkling end result, we have put together a quick preview of the steps we take.

From pencil sketch to finished. A ruby and diamond cluster ring

First, we sit down with our clients to discuss what they’re looking for, and sketch ideas and designs to make sure we are both thinking along the same lines. Once our client is happy with the ideas, we build a CAD image and print resin models to help with visualisation, this also allows us to make changes early on. Once our client has signed off on the CAD design, we can then start the process of casting the ring and hand-finishing it. Combining old and new techniques allows us to make sure that every part of the finished piece of jewellery is absolutely perfect!

Why Choose a Ruby Cluster Engagement Ring?

Rubies vary from pink to a deep red and are often considered to represent a lifelong commitment filled with love and happiness. Their rarity, allure and durability make them the perfect choice when making an engagement ring. A ruby cluster engagement ring, which predominantly features a type of halo setting, has become very popular alternative to diamond and sapphire engagement rings in recent years, owing to their elegant warmth and alluring sparkle
